We all know that Vijay has teamed up with director Vamshi Paidipally for his next project, 'Thalapathy 66', produced by Dil Raju. He started shooting for the film along with the female lead Rashmika earlier in April. The team has already completed a minor schedule in Chennai.
According to the latest reports, there won't be any action sequence for Vijay in 'Thalapathy 66' and the actor will be seen in a complete emotional avatar like his roles in the '90s. When all crew for the movie was locked, the stunt master was not finalized, which adds confirmation to this report.
Also, it is worth mentioning that 'Thalapathy 66' is the first Vijay film without any action sequence after the 2011 film 'Nanban' by Shankar. The further shoot of the upcoming movie will take place in Hyderabad and Chennai. The second schedule will begin next week in a film city in Hyderabad.
Veteran actor Sarathkumar is playing Vijay's father in 'Thalapathy 66' while the early 2000s actor Shaam is playing his brother role. Prakash Raj, Yogi Babu are also speculated to be the part of the cast. Thaman S is scoring music for this untitled project. The makers are aiming for the Pongal 2023 release.
