Official confirmation on director and lead actor of 'Charlie' remake

A few weeks ago Indiaglitz had reported that director Vijay may wield the Megaphone for the Tamil remake of critically acclaimed Malayalam flick 'Charlie' with Madhavan reprising the male lead played by Dulquer Salman in the original.

Now it has been officially confirmed that Vijay will direct the remake with Maddy in the lead role. Parvathy who played the female lead in the original is most likely to be retained for the same role in this remake.

The shooting of the film will start in the month of November. We will keep you posted with any further developments on this exciting project.
