The second single track from Thalapathy Vijay's 'Mersal that has released on Thursday has been phenomenally well received by the audience. The song rendered by A.R.Rahman and Shreya Koshal has made critics observe that this melody is going to rule the film music world for decades.

The much expected audio launch of 'Mersal' will be a grand affair to be held in Chennai on Sunday (August 20). The preparations for the same have already started in the Nehru Indoor Stadium which will be the venue of this mega event to be attended by the likes of Vijay. Music director Rahman, the film crew and also leading producers and directors from the film industry as guests.

The music launch function will reportedly be marked by the live performance of Rahman, who would be playing a few songs from the 'Mersal' album live on the stage along with his troupe.

Now there may be another big surprise to fans in the 'Mersal' audio launch. VJ Ramya who is set to host the show has requested fans to send their questions to the effervescent Thalapathy and she will try her best to get the answers for the questions on the show. So in likelihood this is going to be a Q & A session with Vijay and he is going to answer the questions posed by his affectionate fans. If this happens it will be the biggest highlight of the all mega event.

'Mersal' is the film directed by Atlee and produced by Thenandal Studios banner. This is the 100th film of Thenandal and hence they are planning and executing everything related to the film in a phenomenally grand manner.
