Now that Puli` is in hectic post production and shooting is underway for Vijay 59` directed by Atlee the focus has now shifted to Illayathalapathy`s next. Big names like Shankar, A. R. Murugadass and Sasikumar are the hot favorites in the list.

Due to some unexpected roadblocks Thalaivaa` s release date went amiss which greatly affected the film`s prospects at the box office and producer Chandraprakash Jain faced losses. Now we hear that Illayathalapathy has decided to allot dates for the producer, for a medium budget film to be directed by S.J. Suriya, which combination gave the mega hit Kushi`. Official confirmation is awaited.
