Vijay, who enjoyed massive success with Bigil, is gearing up for his upcoming action-thriller movie, Master, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Rumours regarding the director of Vijay's next film have been doing the rounds on social media for months now.

Several directors have approached Vijay to narrate their scripts and Sudha Kongara Prasad, who massively impressed the audience with her maiden project, Irudhi Suttru, is one among them. Sources close to us have informed that Sudha has been confirmed to take up Vijay's next and the official news will be announced soon enough. However, an update regarding the same is awaited from the makers. Sudha is currently working on Suriya's next film, Soorarai Pottru, which is expected to be a game changer for the actor.

Meanwhile, Vijay is busy with work on Master, that also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Malavika Mohanan, Andrea, and Arjun Das, among others. Produced by Xavier Britto of XB Film Creators, Master will have music composed by Anirudh. Master is slated to release worldwide in April 2020.
