Following the success of Bigil, Vijay is currently busy with the shoot of the untitled Thalapathy 64, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

An important update has now been made by the makers of the film. Arjun Das, who was last seen in Karthi's Kaithi, has come on board Thalapathy 64. "Team #Thalapathy64 welcomes the super Talented @iam_arjundas on board!" the official confirmation tweet read.

While Malavika Mohanan has signed up to play the female lead, Vijay Sethupathi will be essaying the villain role. 'Angamaly Diaries' star Antony Varghese and Shanthanu Bhagyaraj are also playing significant roles in the film. Produced by Xavier Britto of XB Film Creators, Thalapathy 64 will have music composed by Anirudh.
