Thalapathy Vijay is currently acting in his 63rd movie, tentatively referred to as Thalapathy 63 and this movie directed by Atlee, is their third movie together after Theri and Mersal. Thalapathy 63 is produced by AGS Entertainment and has music by AR Rahman.

The movie has Lady Superstar Nayanthara playing Vijay's pair 10 years after Villu, and also stars Pariyerum Perumal hero Kathir, Daniel Balaji, Jackie Shroff, Vivek, Yogi Babu, Indhuja, Reba Monica John, Varsha Bollamma and many others in pivotal roles and now an interesting detail has been revealed.

While its a known fact that Vijay plays the coach of a women's football team, it has been revealed that actress Reba Monica John, who had debuted with Jai Starrer Jarugandi and playing one of the members of the football team, will be seen as an acid attack survivor in the movie. A recent on location selfie of the actress has revealed her look with the special makeup on her face. Thalapathy 63 is set to release on Diwali.
