As fans of Vijay are eagerly waiting for the title and first look of his upcoming film Thalapathy 63, which will be released on Vijay’s birthday on June 22, rumours have been doing the rounds regarding his role in the film.

Recent reports suggest that Vijay will be playing a dual role in the movie directed by Atlee. He is apparently playing the characters of a father and his son. It is already known that Vijay will be playing a football coach in the film. It was also speculated earlier that Shah Rukh Khan would be appearing in a cameo role, but the news has not been officially confirmed by the makers yet. The portions involving the father character of Vijay are reportedly being shot in Chennai currently.
