Thalapathy Vijay is said to be interested in taking a political plunge. This is a mere rumour. Whether and when he will take to politics is something only time will tell.

The news doing the rounds now is that Thalapathy Vijay had a closed-door meeting with the political strategist Prashant Kishor in Hyderabad. PK, who has worked with stalwarts like MK Stalin, YS Jaganmohan Reddy and Mamata Banerjee, is said to have briefed Vijay about political strategizing.

Vijay awaits the release of 'Beast' on April 14. The first song 'Arabic Kuthu' was released recently. Shot on Vijay and Pooja Hegde, the lyrical video has been a big hit. The second song, titled 'Jolly O Gymkhana', will be out on March 19. Rendered in Tamil by Thalapathy Vijay, it is a peppy number.

Featuring also Yogi Babu, Aparna Das, Redin Kingsley, VTV Ganesh and Selvaraghavan, the film has music by Anirudh Ravichander.
