It has been confirmed by a reliable source that more than 110 screens across the USA have been booked for the Tamil version of Puli`. Added to this the Hindi and Telugu versions of Puli` which will have a simultaneous release along with the Tamil version may get a few more screens, 26 screens have been locked for The Telugu version of 'Puli' and 7 more screens are likely to be added. The record for highest number of screen count for a Tamil film in USA is held by the Shankar directed blockbuster I` which was screened in 157 screens across the country and 'Puli' may break this record as more number of screens are likely to be added as as the release date approaches.

In Canada Puli` is all set to create a huge record. The film may be released in 16-18 screens across Canada and if the upper limit is achieved, it will become the Tamil film to be released in highest number of screens in the country. The record was so far is by Superstar Rajinikanth`s Kochadiiyaan` which was screened in 16 screens across Canada.
