Director Saami has been known for his controversial movies like Srikanth, Sangeetha starrer Uyir, Aadhi, Padmapriya starrer Mirugam, Kangaroo and few more movies which had sensitive themes.

Saami has now opened up against actor Vijay saying that he had met him in 2000 and during Priyamanavale shooting had narrated a story named Andril Paravaigal. He said Vijay can act like Rajnikanth but must stop speaking in functions.

He said about Vijay's words in Bigil audio launch that people must keep right people at right places and said Nature has kept people at the places they deserve and Vijay only speaks unnecessary things. He said that Vijay washed his hands with Dettol after meeting fans and is cheating people, and told Vijay must act in films and stop giving messages in speeches.
