The film directed by Karthik Subbaraj and produced by Sun Pictures is also said to have Simran, Bobby Simha, Sananth Reddy, Karunakaran and Yogi Babu among others.

Vijay Sethupathi in a recent press interaction has revealed that he did not even listen to the script from Karthik Subbaraj and also has no clue about his character. He accepted the offer because of the personal relationship he has with the director and his confidence in his ability to make fantastic films.
