Actor Vijay Sethupathi is gradually becoming a popular star throughout the country. He has given amazing performances in multiple languages and he has his eyes on Hindi film industry now. However, there's a catch. While he is already doing a web show with Raj and DK, Vijay's next Hindi production is going to be a silent film. The film is titled 'Gandhi Talks' and it will be directed by Pandurang Belekar.

Confirming the project, Sethupathi said, "Yes. I’m doing a Hindi film titled Gandhi Talks where I don’t talk at all. It’s a silent film.” When asked whether this is cause of his poor Hindi, Vijay replied, “Jee nahin, meri Hindi kafi achchi ho gayi hai (my Hindi has really improved). I’ve been working on it (the Hindi language) for my other projects with Raj-DK and another Hindi film being directed by Santosh Sivan.”

Speaking more about his silent film, Vijay said, "I’ve always believed that for an actor silences always speak louder than words. At least it’s true of me. I always feel the words come in the way of expressing the feelings. I am at my most expressive when I am not speaking.”
