Breaking! Vijay Sethupathi opts out of new movie with superhit films director

Vijay Sethupathi is currently one of the, if not the busiest leading hero in pan Indian cinema.  His stock has risen multifold after his critically acclaimed performance in the Amazon Prime Video web series ‘Farzi’ directed by Raj and DK and costarring Shahid Kapoor.

We reported earlier to you that Vijay Sethupathi signed on to play the lead role in Sundar C’s ‘Aranmanai 4’ and pics of them together went viral on the internet.  It was also reported that Santhanam is playing the parallel lead and the shooting was planned from April this year.

Now according to reliable sources Vijay Sethupathi has opted out of ‘Aranmanai 4’ due to date issues thanks to his super busy schedule.  It is said that Sundar C will now play the lead with Yogi Babu in place of Santhanam.  Lets wait for the official confirmation from Lyca Productions which is bankrolling the project.

Vijay Sethupathi’s upcoming projects include Vetrimaaran’s ‘Viduthalai’, Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Jawan’, ‘Merry Christmas’ with Katrina Kaif, and the silent movie ‘Gandhi Talks’.  Sundar C on the other hand is planning to kickstart his long time dream project ‘Sangamithra’ after completing ‘Arnmanai 4’ in quick time.
