After a brief lull in the industry comedy specialist, Soori is going to enjoy back to back releases 'Namma Veettu Pillai' starring Sivakarthikeyan and 'Sanga Thamizhan' starring Vijay Sethupathi hitting the screens on September 27th and October 4th respectively. We caught up with Soori for an exclusive interview in which he wins over with his down to earth attitude and humbleness.
It is common knowledge that Soori is a close friend of Sivakarthikeyan whom he considers as a younger brother and is also a close buddy of Siva's rival Vijay Sethupathi. The inevitable task of comparing the two top heroes of Kollywood was thrown at Soori who was more than willing to do so.
Soori stated that Vijay Sethupathi and Sivakarthikeyan both know their strengths and weaknesses and choose scripts accordingly and succeed in it. Regarding VJS, Soori stated that he is such a killer in performances that even in the days of 'Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu' when he played a bit role he not only acted with such intensity in a scene in which he had fits but also recreated it without flaws during dubbing and that too in a single take.
Soori also shared that Sivakarthikeyan follows the policy of doing one film with him and then give a gap so that audiences dont tire of the combination. He also added that Siva is like a family member to him while VJS is a dear friend and thats why he calls him maamaa. Do watch the video below for more exciting stuff from Soori.
