It was announced before few months that director Sanjeev, Vikranth's brother who had earlier made the action thriller Thaaka Thaaka starring Vikranth and Abhinaya will be making his second directorial starring Vikranth again, and that the movie will have dialogues penned by Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi.

However, recently it was updated that the untitled flick was dropped due to reasons unknown. Now it has been revealed that Sanjeev and Vikranth are reuniting for another movie that will be based on kick boxing culture in North Chennai and that Vijay Sethupathi will be working as the screenplay writer.

The interesting addition to this team happens to be actor Vishnu Vishal who will be playing one of the leads alongside Vikranth. Earlier Vishnu Vishal had also featured in a special promo song for Thaakka Thaakka and both Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth have been good friends.
