We had reported several weeks back that Vijay Sethupathi has been approached to play a powerful villain in a new movie starring debutante hero Panja Vaisshnav Tej a nephew of Chiranjeevi.  Read : Vijay Sethupathi as villain against debut hero?

The director Bucchi Babu Sana has confirmed that the Makkal Selvan has officially joined the untitled film by sharing a photo and stating "Thanq you and love u Vijay sethupati sir".  The movie will have music by Devi Sri Prasad with  Manisha Raj as the female lead and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar.  This is the second Telugu film for VJS after 'Sye Raa' in which he shares screen space with legends Chiranjeevi and Amitabh Bachan. 

Vijay Sethupathi's next release is 'Super Deluxe' directed by Thiagarajan Kumaraja and costarring Samantha and Fahadh Fazil on March 29th.
