Vijay Sethupathi the powerful actor was showcased by Vetrimaaran in just a few scenes and under ten minutes screen time in 'Viduthalai'. The film released a few months back had Soori in the lead and Vijay Sethupathi as Vaathiyaar. The maverick director is now directing 'Viduthalai 2' that will be fully focussed on the rise and ultimate sacrifice of Vijay Sethupathi's character.

Meanwhile the hot news is that Vijay Sethupathi and Vetrimaaran are reuniting for a new project after the completion of 'Viduthalai Part 2'. According to sources the film will be directed by Ponram while Vetrimaaran will be writing the screenplay and dialogues.

Vijay Sethupathi and Ponram already worked together in 'DSP' which did not fare well at the box office and among critics. But this time it is said that the duo have planned to give a worthwhile film to fans.
