Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi had recently finished shooting for Sanga Tamizhan and following this the announcement of his next movie, Tughlaq Durbar has arrived. This movie will be a political satire and will have a fantasy concept in it as well.

It was announced that actor and director R Parthiepan will be sharing screen space with Vijay Sethupathi after the blockbuster Naanum Rowdythaan and Kaatru Veliyidai heroine Aditi Rao Hydari will play the female lead in Tughlaq Durbar.

After the next announcement that director Balaji Tharaneetharan of Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom and Seethakaathi will write dialogues and Premkumar of 96 will be the cinematographer it has been revealed that this movie will have music by Govind Vasantha who have a superb album for 96.
