Actors Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha have teamed up for the first time for '96' directed by Premkumar. The film is all set to hit the screens on October 4, 2018.

The film has a enormous pre-release buzz thanks to the heartwarming songs by debutant Govind Vasantha and spectacular chemistry of VJS and Trish in the teasers and trailers that were released.

Now we all know that Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha are also part of Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming film 'Petta' directed by Karthik Subbaraj. The film's shooting is underway in Uttar Pradesh for the past few weeks.

From tomorrow (October 1, 2018) a new schedule of shooting will commence in Varanasi. In this schedule both Vijay Sethupathi and Trisha are expected shoot for the film from tomorrow itself.

The film also stars Simran, Nawazuddin Siddique, Bobby Simha and Megha Akash in important roles. Anirudh is providing music score for this Sun Pictures production venture.
