Nadigar Thilagam Sivaji Ganesan created a world record by playing nine different roles in the same film 'Navarathiri'. Decades later Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan broke that record by playing ten different characters in his blockbuster film 'Dasavatharam'.They are not only different roles but the Nadigar Thilagam and Ulaganayagan took pains to appear in different getups for each of the characters they played in their respective films.

Now Vijay Sethupathi will be appearing in as many as eight getups in one of his upcoming films which has been titled as 'Oru Nalla Naal Pathu Sollu'.

Vijay Sethupathi plays a tribal leader in this film directed by debutant Arumuga Kumar which also stars Gautham Karthik in the lead role. The film's story is centered around Vijay Sethupathi's character who comes to the city. In the second half the film shifts to forest and that's where he appears in eight getups.

The shooting is almost completed except the portions for one of the getups in which the 'Dharmadurai' actor will be appearing as a 20 year old with a clean shaven look.

The makers plan to wrap up the shoot by completing the remaining portion, in a week's time.
