Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, after the blockbuster success of Chekka Chivantha Vaanam and 96, and critical acclaim for Seethakaathi, played the principal antagonist in Superstar Rajnikanth’s Petta released on January 10. The actor is awaiting the release of his next, the Thiagarajan Kumararaja directorial Super Deluxe, where he plays a transgender named Shilpa.
Now, the verstaile actor is all set to begin his next, to be directed by debutant Venkata Krishna Roganth, an erstwhile associate of SP Jananathan. Reportedly this movie will be a big budget entertainer, and the team is already in the process of erecting a grand 150-year-old Church set for the movie.
