Reliable sources are now stating that Vijay Sethupathi has given his nod to host a new cookery show on the lines of 'Cooku With Comali' for a leading television channel. It is said that a huge salary of almost fifteen crores per month will be paid to him. Official confirmation is expected any moment now as the channel has planned to debut the show in the summer holidays.

He has already hosted 'Namma Ooru Hero' which was telecast on Sun TV garnering high TRP ratings. On the movie front, the talented star actor is basking in the grand success of 'Master' with Thalapathy Vijay and his Telugu film 'Uppenna'.
