'Sindhubaadh' the new movie of Vijay Sethupathi has evoked a huge amount of interest towards it after the teaser was released a couple of weeks back. The film has Vijay Sethupathi and Anjali as the lead pair and is directed by S. U. Arunkumar of 'Pannaiyarum Padminiyum' and 'Sethupathi' fame.
It has now been revealed that Vijay Sethupathi and his son Suriya are playing petty thieves in 'Sindhubaadh' and will be seen together throughout the film and their chemistry has worked big time according to the team. After 'Iraivi', Anjali is said to have bagged a powerful character and has some exciting romantic scenes with VJS. Lingaa who played a loyal constable in 'Sethupathi' plays the main baddie and has put on 18 kgs for the role and also learned the Thai language to nail his character of a Thailander. Vivek Prasanna and George are the other actors playing pivotal roles along with Malaysian actors Ganesan and Subatra.
'Sindhubaadh' has been extensively shot in Tenkasi, Malaysia and Thailand and eighty percent of the post-production work is over. Yuvan Shankar Raja scores the music, Vijay Karthik Kannan handles the camera and Ruben the editing while the film is jointly produced by K Productions and Vansan Movies. The team is eyeing a grand Summer release this year.
