On eve of India's 73rd Independence day celebrations yesterday, Transgenders had organized an event to create a world record art. This event was held at a ground located in Gopalapuram, Chennai and was attended by more than 100 transgenders.
This event was inaugurated by Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, who started the art work, as the event saw 100 transgenders uniting to make an art of the man behind the Indian constitution, Doctor Ambedkar at 7000 square feet, to create a world record.
After the event, the organizer of the event said that it was a proud moment for transgenders as they made the art of Ambedkar who was the only leader to have spoken for equal rights for their community too, and also thanked actor Vijay Sethupathi for coming forward to support their record attempt.
