Last week one of the most exciting announcements that hit the entertainment zone was director Gokul's new movie 'Corona Kumar' which is touted to be a spinoff of the blockbuster hit movie 'Idharku Thaaney Aasaipattai Balakumara'. Since then Gokul had revealed that 'Corona Kumar' is a cousin of Sumaar Moonjii Kumar played by Vijay Sethupathi in the original and the story is set in the COVID 19 lockdown and how it affects people in general and alcoholics in particular. Some of the stars of 'Idharku Thaaney Aasaipattai Balakumara' are also expected to return and the details will be out soon.

Now reliable sources have informed us that Vijay Sethupathi will also make an extended cameo appearance and will reprise his role as Sumaar Moonji Kumar. It is said that his portions will bring the house down with its comic quotient and is the big surprise element of the film. Siddharth Vipin also returns as the music director while Cinemawala K Sathish produces. Stay tuned for more on this one.
