While there was much fanfare over the commencement of the Kamalhassan starrer Uthama Villain produced by Tirupathi Brothers, much was not spoken about another venture that the production house has started producing simultaneously, In fact both of these films started there shoot yesterday.

The ‘another’ film we are talking about is Idam Porul Eval that is being directed by Natinal award winning director Seenu Ramasami. The film stars Vijay Sethupathi and Manisha in the lead roles. The shooting of the film commenced yesterday in Kodaikkanal and Vishnu Vishal who acted in the director’s critically acclaimed film Neerparavai is also acting in this film. Vishnu is expected to join the sets in Kodaikkanal very soon.

Seenu Ramasami is the one who introduced Vijay Sethupathi as a lead hero in his Thenmerku Paruvakatru which won the National award for Best Regional film in Tamil.

With Idam Porul Eval, Seenu Ramasami has made ace lyricist Vairamuthu write his verses for the songs composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja for the first time. This is for sure another attraction to the film.
