Vijay Sethupathi bold speech about Politics and Caste

Actor Vijay Sethupathi's first cop film 'Sethupathi' is all set to hit the screens this Friday. The film directed by S.U.Arunkumar is expected to promote the action hero image of VIjay Sethupathi who plays a police officer in the film.

Known for his versatile roles Vijay Sethupathi has never been apprehensive of making novel attempts. When he was facing a series of flops he acted in a film as a 55 year old person and that was his maiden production venture also.

The highly talented performer proved that his not confined to cinema and the roles he takes up. In a recent Television talk show Vijay Sethupathi made some observations about politics, caste and youngsters spending time in star fights.

He said he was pained to note youngsters wasting their time and energy in fighting for their favorite stars in social media. He also said youngsters should instead become keen in politics.

The 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' actor observed that every adult should enroll themselves in a political party which will make them learn the facts about at least the party they represent.

Vijay Sethupathi also expressed dismay over social media being used to express caste orientation and the scientific tool has helped to intensify the caste consciousness. He also said the while the number of love marriages have increased we also come across a lot of matrimonial ads specifying caste preferences and that makes him feel sad.
