Telugu actor Vijay Deverakonda is well known in Tamil Nadu as well, as his movies like Geetha Govindam did well in the TN Box office too, and the actor had debuted in Tamil last year with the bilingual movie NOTA, the political entertainer directed by Anand Shankar.

Though the movie did not fare well at the box office, the actor has got his fan base developing, and now his next release Dear Comrade is all set to release in Tamil besides Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. The movie has his Geetha Govindam heroine Rashmika Mandanna pairing with him.

It has now been revealed that Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi has sung a song titled "Comrade Anthem" in the Tamil version of Dear Comrade, and the same song is sung by Dulquer Salmaan in the Malayalam version and Vijay Deverakonda himself in Telugu. This song will be released today, and besides, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are performing live in Chennai today, for the audio launch of the movie, in an event named Dear Comrade Music festival.
