Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi's Sindhubaadh produced by Vansan movies and K Productions was supposed to release last week but the release was postponed as Arka productions had demanded a stay on the release for the financial dues of K Productions.

However now all the issues have been resolved and now it has been officially announced that Sindhubaadh is all set to release worldwide on June 27. The movie directed by Su Arunkumar marks the third collaboration between Vijay Sethupathi and the director after Pannaiyarum Padminiyum and Sethupathi.

Sindhubaadh is a modern take on Ramayana where the villain kidnaps the heroine and the hero sets out to Malaysia to rescue her. Anjali plays the female lead and Suriya son of Vijay Sethupathi plays an important character, while Linga and Vivek Prasanna are also a part of the cast.
