Vijay Sethupathi flagged off the 'Seethakathi Express' buses that had the posters of the upcoming film on coaches belonging to the famous Parveen Travels. The buses plying from Chennai to the length and breadth of Tamil Nadu and other states will give great visibility to people on their journeys of several thousand kilometers.

'Seethakathi' directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan and produced by Passion Studios has Vijay Sethupathi playing the role of a eighty five year old drama actor while the supporting cast includes Archana, Gayathrie, Ramya Nambesan, Parvati Nair, Mouli, Bhagavathy Perumal and director Mahendran. The film lands in theaters on December 20th one day earlier than the other four in competition 'Kanaa', 'Adanga Maru', 'Silukkuvarpatti Singam' and 'Maari 2'.
