We had reported earlier that Versatile Actor Vijay Sethupathi will be acting and producing in the film 'Junga' that will be directed by Gokul. The actor and director have earlier worked together for 'Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara' which became a people favourite and turned out as a super hit.

Speaking about the film Gokul reveals that it was Vijay Sethupathi's idea to come forward and produce the film as it will be an expensive film. .

"After listening to my narration of the complete story of 'Junga' Vijay Sethupathi remained silent for a few moments and said he will roduce the film. It is a costly film estimated to involve around Rs.20 crore. So he felt it will be right for himself to produce the film."

Gokul also confirms that Sayyesshaa of 'Vanamagan' fame will play the female lead while Yogi Babu will come throughout the film with Vijay Sethupathi. The makers are in the process of finalising the technical crew members.

60% of the film will be shot in France while the remaining portions will be shot in Chennai, Tuticorin and Ramanathapuram of Tamil Nadu.

Saying that 'Junga' will e a mass entertainer with comedy, action and romance the director added the first schedule of shoot will begin by the end of this month.

The makers also plan to release the first look poster for Diwali 2017.
