Few weeks back, an unseen old photoshoot of Vijay Sethupathi which was done in 2011 turned viral, and the photos had Vijay Sethupathi in a look similar to Kamal Haasan from the hit Sathya directed by Suresh Krishna. Many fans designed posters for Sathya 2 with these Vijay Sethupathi stills as well.

In a recent interview, Vijay Sethupathi opened up on the real story behind the photos. Vijay Sethupathi revealed that the photoshoot was done by director Manikandan who was supposed to direct a movie with Vijay Sethupathi after his debut movie Thenmerku Paruvakaatru.

As Vijay Sethupathi was bald for the climax of Thenmerku Paruvakaatru, he had the short hair look which was captured by Manikandan, and though the movie didn't happen, Manikandan had shared those photos recently which have turned viral. Vijay Sethupathi will seen next in the Vijay starrer Master directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
