The grand pre-release event of Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan' took place at a private college in Chennai. This is the first time that a Bollywood movie event is taking place in TN and it turnd out to be massive success. One of the highlights of the show was Vijay Sethupathi's speech.

He stated amidst cheers that as a school boy he fell for a North Indian girl who rejected him because she loved SRK. The Makkal Selvan then said that after many years he got a chance to take revenge on the Bollywood superstar playing his villain in 'Jawan'. At the same time the multilingual actor heaped praise on the mass hero "Acting with Shah Rukh Khan was an unforgettable experience in my life, I cannot see a better man like him. He is unequalled when it comes to being kind to everyone, joviality and abundance of love"

Shah Rukh Khan in his speech called his costar "Attagasamana" Vijay Sethupathi and in jest said "You may take revenge on me but you can never take away the female fans from me". He also addressed Anirudh the music composer of 'Jawan' as his son and lauded his costars Nayanthara, Yogi Babu, Priyamani and technicians such as T. Muthuraj, Ruben and others.

'Jawan' directed by Atlee and produced by SRK is releasing worldwide with huge expectations on September 7th. The film has a strong represenation from Kollywood and is expected to receive an opening on par with Tamil superstar films.
