Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupath, who was last seen on screen playing transgender Shilpa in Super Deluxe directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja, has been since then busy shooting for multiple projects like Vijay Chandar directorial Sanga Tamizhan and the recently launched Laabam directed by SP Jhananathan.

Yesterday, the most loved actor of Kollywood at the moment had been to Madurai for the inauguration of a jewellery showroom.Speaking during the event, when he was questioned on actors entering TV shows, Vijay Sethupathi said that actors working on TV shows isn't a setback, and it is only a development and recognition of their popularity, as there should be no bias as small screens and silver screens.

Vijay Sethupathi further went on to reveal that it is not mandatory that only film personalities must enter politics, and that anyone with knowledge and a honest intention to serve people can enter politics. He said that he has not adopted any village nor did he campaign for any party, and said that one must check the authenticity of any news spreading on social media, and not blindly believe and share it.
