Actor Vijay Sethupathi has an immense fan following and he has also got a huge respect as a good actor among a large section of movie buffs cutting across ages. However the actor does not have a presence in social media, unlike many of his colleagues.

In a recent interview to an English daily newspaper, the versatile actor revealed the reason behind this.

The 'Naanum Rowdy Dhaan' actor revealed that he was once having a Facebook account and was active in it. He used to reply to many of the comments appreciating his acting in films.

However he said when he sees a tragic news in Facebook, he would see a hilarious meme, which would confuse him as to whether repent for the former or laugh out for the latter. He said he decided to delete his Facebook account as he felt this contradiction would affect him as a human.

Vijay Sethupathi's latest release 'Sethupathi' in which he has played a cop for the first time is running to houseful shows amid positive reviews pouring in from all quarters.
