Oscar winners behind Vijay Sethupathi's stunning transformation in 'Seethakathi'

The stunningly realistic old age getup of Vijay Sethupathi in his new film 'Seethakathi' made heads turn when released on his birthday the 16th of January.  Director Balaji Tharaneetharan has revealed that Hollywood makeup artist Kevin Haney is designed the look and the prosthetic mould was done in Los Angeles.

Alex Noble flew down to the 'Seethakathi' sets to work on Vijay Sethupathi with the makeup which took four hours to complete and another hour to take it off after the day's shooting was done.  The film produced by Passion Studios has Ramya Nambesan, Gayathree, Parvathy, Archana and director J. Mahendran in the cast and is fast nearing completion.
