This year Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi’s two films namely ‘Junga’ and ‘Oru Nalla Naal Paathu Solren’ released. Now the hot scoop is that one of his films isgoing to clash on release with Prabhu Deva’s film. The date is August 24, when Prabhu Deva’s ‘Lakshmi’ and ‘Merku Thodarchi Malai’ produced by Vijay Sethupathi will be releasing.

Even the offcial trailer of ‘Merku Thodarchi Malai’ released yesterday to a good reception. The film is directed by Lenin. Ilayaraja has scored the music for this film which also has Anthony and Gayathri essaying important roles.

It is also worth mentioning here that the film has been already screened in various film festivals and the hope is that it will win audiences among the general audience as well. Theni Eswar is handling the cinematography for the film while editor Kasi Viswanathan is making the cuts.
