Actor Vijay Sethupathi had last acted in the movie Sanga Thamizhan directed by Vijay Chandar, and this movie also starring Raashi Khanna and Nivetha Pethuraj did not perform well commercially. After this movie, the actor is shooting for Lokesh Kanagaraj's Master.
Before several months, director Ponram, who is known for hits like Varuthapadatha Vaalibar Sangam and Rajnimurugan had planned to direct a movie starring Vijay Sethupathi, but the project had been pushed to 2020. In the meantime, Ponram also completed MGR Magan starring Sasikumar and Sathyaraj.
Now it has been said that Vijay Sethupathi's next with Ponram will be launched soon, and that top production house Sun Pictures might be producing this movie.
