Generally cameo appearances made by stars will be announced with much fanfare as a promotional strategy. But actor Vishnu Vishal' who has also produced his upcoming release 'Kathanayagan' has done it in a unique style. He has guarded the secret of today's leading star making an appearance in his film until the release of the trailer.

Only in the just release trailer of 'Kathanayagan' it has been revealed that the Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi has acted in this film. As evidenced in the trailer. Vijay Sethupathi will be playing a substantial cameo role as he appears in at least in three instances in the trailer with different costumes, which means they are three different scenes.

Vishnu Vishal has already delivered a super hit with his debut production venture 'Velainu Vandhutta Vellaikaran' and hence there is a good round of expectations over 'Kathanayagan'. The film also has Soori as the lead comedian and Catherine Tresa as the female lead. Now Vijay Sethupathi's inclusion in a cameo role has come as a huge pull factor for this film.

Sean Roldan is the music director for this film directed by debutant Muruganandam.

Vijay Sethupathi and Vishnu Visha have earlier acted together in director Seenu Ramasamy's 'Idam Porul Yaeval' but the film has not released.
