Actor Vijay Sethupathi's 'Vikram Vedha' has released over the weekend has received phenomenal reviews and positive word of mouth from all over the state.
Young documentary filmmaker Divya Bharathi who made 'Kakkooss' documentary on manual scavengers has watched the recent Kollywood sensation 'Vikram Vedha' and has praised Vijay Sethupathi's acting in the film.
Divya Bharathi who claims to be a fan of Madhavan said that she watched 'Vikram Vedha' in a theater in Madurai where Vijay Sethupathi's introduction scene evoked enormous claps, whistles and cheers from the fans. She claimed that she has become a fan of Vijay Sethupathi after watching the film and wished him a great career in Tamil cinema.
The young social activists who works for the betterment of socially and economically downtrodden people revealed a praiseworthy deed of the Makkal Selvan.
After watching the trailer of 'Kakkoos', Vijay Sethupathi had called Divya Bharathi over phone and talked about the politics surrounding the continuance of manual scavenging even after it has been banned by the Courts. He also support the film in someway. The rent for the studio where the post-production work of the film happened is Rs.30000 and that was entirely paid by Vijay Sethupathi.
