Bollywood actor replaces Vijay Sethupathi in mega project

Vijay Sethupathi hailed as the Makkal Selvan by fans is known for juggling multiple film projects successfully due to his passion for his craft. He is currently starring as the villain in Thalapathy Vijay's 'Master' and half a dozen more films including 'Tuglaq Durbar', 'Yaadhum Oore Yavarum Kelir', 'Annabelle Subramaniam', 'Laabam', 'Kadaisi Vivasayi' and 'Navarasa'.

Vijay Sethupathi had signed on to play an important role in the mega Bollywood film 'Lal Singh Chaddha' starring Aamir Khan and Kareen Kapoor in the lead roles. The film a remake of the classic Hollywood blockbuster hit 'Forrest Gump' and VJS was supposed to play the role of Bubba played by Mykelti Williamson in the original.

The Bubba character a black man is shown as a constant talker and Aamir had wished it it to be a Tamilian and wanted Vijay Sethupathi on board. Now it is reported in Bollywood media that VJS has been replaced by Manav Vij and the reason said is that Aamir was not happy about the Tamil superstar's look since he wanted him to reduce weight which he couldn't.

However other sources say that Vijay Sethupathi allotted dates for 'Lal Singh Chaddha' before the lockdown and he, unfortunately, did not have dates and that's why he couldn't do the project.
