Recently, the legendary director SP Jananathan's statue unveiling ceremony was held in Chennai in his memory. Vijay Sethupathi, Communist Party leader Nallakannu, Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Party (VCK) leader Thol Thirumavalavan and many others were present at the special event.
Vijay Sethupathi, who spoke at the function, said, If there is one blessing I have done in my life, it was producing SP Jananathan's last film Laabam. But the curse I got was that it was his last film. The talented actor continues, Director Jananathan was the one who showed Communism through actions and life. Anyone can read Communism and Periyarism. But it is only when you follow it that you get a grip on it. He looks at the words in the pictures and sows. He suppresses a thousand words in 5 words. I will speak the verses fast. So he would tell me that the word should be clear when acting.
