Firstly the DMK MLA of Trichy Dr. Saravanan admitted Thavasi to his hospital for free treatment and actors Sivakarthikeyan and Soori donated rupees twenty-five thousand and twenty thousand rupees respectively.

Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi today sent a donation of rupees one lakh to Thavasi through actor Soundaraja who also contributed rupees ten thousand. It is heartening to see the actor who has been in the film industry for several decades getting aid at the darkest time of his life.
