Director Anand Shankar had debuted in Tamil, with the Vikram Prabhu, Priya Anand starrer action thriller Arima Nambi, which was a commercially successful venture, following which he had directed the Chiyaan Vikram dual role entertainer Irumugan, also starring Nayanthara.
Last year, the director had made the political thriller NOTA, a Tamil / Telugu bilingual which had Tollywood youth icon Vijay Deverakonda and Mehreen Pirzada, Sathyaraj and Nasser in important roles. Now, an interesting update is out on his next project.
Buzz is that Anand Shankar has narrated a script to Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi, and that the director is awaiting the nod of the actor. Reportedly, if this combination works out, the film will be produced by Shibu Thameens who had produced Anand Shankar’s Irumugan.
