2012 was a lucky beginning for the debut actor Vijay Sethupathi. "Pizza" and "Naduvula Konjam Pakatha Kaanom" made sure of that. Movie offers have been coming in one after the other for this young actor, but he hasn't taken up many of them.

When asked about this, Vijay said, "It is not that I don’t want to sign films, but I don’t want to accept any film coming my way. I have been hearing a lot of scripts and the fact is that even if I want to do these films, I seldom find time as I already have three projects in my kitty. I don’t choose my directors, but I choose my scripts wisely. I don’t want do films for the fun of it. If my last two films were successful, it is because they were different and I will strive to do such films going forward."

He also added that he is not worried about all 3 of his future films being directed by newcomers. The 3 movies in hand now are "Rummy", "Soodhu Kavvum" and "Pannayarum Padminiyum". Also, his "Pizza" is being remake in Hindi by Bejoy Nambiar.
