Vijay Sethupathi reunites with his mentor for a totally different film

The busy bee of Kollywood, Vijay Sethupathi must surely be making the aeroplane his home once the lockdown ends and film shootings resume. He has more than half a dozen films in production already and another is in talks to star in as many more in many Indian languages.
Now the latest news is that VJS will be starring in a new movie to be directed by Seenu Ramasamy who first gave him his big break as hero in 'Thenmerku Paruva Kaatru'. True to his promise to Seenu that he will give him dates whenever he wants he has already made 'Dharmadhurai' and the completed but unreleased 'Edam Porul Eval' and 'Maamanithan'. This will be the duo's fifth film together.
Seenu Ramasamy has confirmed that the project is on but will go on floors only after he completed a new movie with a young hero for which he is scouting locations in Madurai. He has further revealed that the film with VJS will be a thriller and is produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu.
Vijay Sethupathi's films that are ready to release soon are 'Laabam', 'Tuglaq Durbar', 'Kadaisi Vivasayi', 'Yaadhum Oore Yaavarum Kelir', 'Mumbaikkar', '19(A)' and 'Annabelle Subramaniam'. The films that he is working on currently are 'Pisasu 2' directed by Mysskin, 'Viduthalai' directed by Vettrimaaran and 'Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kadhal' directed by Vignesh Shivan.
