Vijay Sethupathi in spite of his super busy schedule never lets a good role or a different story go by and always does his best to accomodate the dierctors who desperately want him in their films.  The latest director he has given the nod to is S.P. Jananathan for whose new film he will start shooting from the end of June.

S.P. Jananathan's 'Purambokku Engira Podhuvudamai' had Vijay Sethupathi playing the rare character of a hangman tortured by his conscience for which he recieved immense praises.  The new role is also said to be a powerful role with a strong social conscience.  The other details of the rest of the cast and crew will be out soon.

Vijay Sethupathi has a string of movies under production such as 'Chekka Chivantha Vaanam', 'Imaikka Nodigal', '96', 'Seethakathi', 'Junga' and has also signed films with director Manikandan titled 'Kadaisi Vivasayi' and Arun Kumar of 'Sethupathi' fame.
