Vijay Sethupathi has acted in the most number of films among top heroes in the past few years. In recent times he has accepted more Hindi and other languages films than Tamil such as 'Farzi', Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan', 'Merry Christmas', 'Gandhi Talks', 'Mumbaikkar' etc.

His fans were delighted when earlier this month the Makkal Selvan started shooting for the untitled new movie by Nithilan Swaminathan of 'Kurangu Bommai' fame. The film is progressing at a brisk pace with other leading stars Natty Natraj, Muniskanth, Arul Doss an Boys Manikandan.

Reliable sources suggest that the film has been titled 'Maharaja' and has a strong connection to the character of Vijay Sethupathi in the film. The first look poster and the title of the film produced by Potential Studios will be unveiled soon.

Vijay Sethupathi meanwhile will enthrall his fans with Vetrimaaran's 'Viduthalai 1' costarring Soori, Bhavani Sre and GVM slated for release on March 31st. 'Jawan' directed by Altee is eyeing June 2nd.
