Due to the lockdown induced by the Coronavirus pandemic, lots of movies in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi had opted for a direct OTT release. Following Ponmagal Vandhaal and Penguin, Suriya starrer Soorarai Pottru is set to have an OTT release.

There were many reports of late that actress Aishwarya Rajesh starrer Ka Pae Ranasingam which also features Vijay Sethupathi in an important role will release on OTT platform, and now the release date of the movie has been announced.

It has been made official that Ka Pae Ranasingam will be releasing on October 2 as a pay per view movie on Zee Plex, a new pay per view OTT platform from the Zee group. Ka Pae Ranasingam is directed by debutant Virumandi and has music by Ghibran.
